Discovery Day – Amazing amphibians and remarkable reptiles!

Whilst pond dipping and hunting for mini-beasts in our Discovery Zone, we'll be focusing on the extraordinary lives of frogs, newts, snakes and lizards.

Often featured in myths, fairy tales and folklore, the real lives of these fascinating creatures are just as amazing with many adaptations to live in different environments.

These are just some of the remarkable creatures you may encounter in our 'Zone' before creating your own mythical or real beasts!
