History Tour of Pitmedden Garden

Visit Aberdeenshire’s hidden gem and enjoy a 60–90 minute guided history walk telling the story of how the Gardens were first created in 1675 by Sir Alexander Seton, pass into the ownership of the Keith family in 1893 and finally being gifted to the NTS in 1953.

You will hear about how the NTS has developed the Gardens up to the present day and interesting information about the buildings, fountains, sundials and stonework not normally part of the visitor experience.
