Bureaucracies: @ 7.3

[Box in a Man] productions presents Bureaucracies - a new original play.Congratulations! You got the job. Nobody told you what it is.Brian is the newest employee in an office where his boss insists they're friends, his middle manager already hates him, and leaving is proving more difficult than expected. Drawing on the absurdities of real-life workplace experience, Bureaucracies is a darkly funny new play about corporate life at its most ridiculous: targets, AI, workplace surveillance, Employee of the Month and a welfare event involving half a doughnut. With razor-sharp, witty writing, the painfully familiar slips into the surreal, as office politics, corporate jargon and the pursuit of productivity become increasingly unsettling.Written by Aidan Kane, Winner of Best Writing at Keble's Garden of Playwrights.Co-directed by Aidan Kane and Madi Bouchta.
Produced by Kapil Narain.
