Sut i ymateb i hyn. Fyny i chi. Ond ymatebwch.
Fy ymateb i yw Y Bugail Geifr. Pryddest, dwi wedi ei galw hi. Ar ffurf monolog. Ei hunig bwrpas hi yw talu gwrogaeth ddiflewyn ar dafod i’r Cwmni oddi wrtha i yr wyf wedi cael y fraint o ysgrifennu sawl sioe iddo. Deud Diolch ydy’r unig nod. Ond mewn ffordd sy’n gwneud i ni holi’r cwestiwn: Be’ ydy’ calon theatr Mae’n gân o fawl i’r theatr hefyd.

My own response is Y Bugail Geifr. I’ve called it a verse-drama in the form of a monologue. Its only purpose is to pay blunt, unflinching tribute to the Company from someone who has had the privilege of writing several shows for them. To say Thank You - that’s all. But in a way that asks the question: What is the beating heart of theatre It is also a song of praise to theatre itself.And to get Dyfan Roberts into action! One of the company’s founding fathers. It’s for the voice of a particular actor that I write these days.It is Dyfan’s voice that shines through this piece. But there are other voices too - voices that have contributed to the life of Bara Caws.
