Live Music Event - the Sensory Illusions

This event is part of Sharmanka's programme of live performances by local and international musicians, artists and performers. With great pleasure, we welcome this very special duo comprised of two unique artists in their own right to play amidst Eduard Bersudsky's marvellous mechanical sculptures. The Sensory Illusions featuring Bill Wells & Danielle Price bring together two distinctive voices from the Scottish experimental music scene. Their work blends Bill Wells' quietly adventurous approach to composition with Danielle Price's expressive, exploratory tuba playing, creating music that sits somewhere between chamber music, improvisation, folk-inflected abstraction and electronic experimentation. As The Sensory Illusions, they conjure intimate, strange and beautifully unpredictable sound worlds - music that rewards close listening while retaining a sense of play, warmth and wonder.More information about The Sensory Illusions at BandcampThis continues Sharmanka's 2026 Live Events Programme organised by John Cavanagh / www.johncavanagh.co.ukTickets
