Strathaven Choral Society, under the direction of Christopher Barr, will perform The Music Makers, by Sir Edward Elgar, accompanied by the Strathclyde Chamber Orchestra and featuring soloist Lynn Bellamy.

Elgar lovers will recognise many themes from the composer's more popular works dotted throughout.
The orchestra will also perform Gustav Holst's St Paul's Suite for Strings.
