presented by Orange WorksThe theatre is full of ghosts. It is 1865, and Henry Webster joins the notorious London Ghost Club hoping to meet and be inspired by Charles Dickens. There he meets Edward Price who draws Henry into investigating a haunting at his own lodging house, owned by the widowed Mia Sands. At night, the ghosts of two young children wander the house in search of light and safety - while fearing what waits for them in the darkness. This atmospheric tale, inspired by the stories of M R James and almost entirely lit by hand-held lanterns has played to great acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe and around the country.Orange Works is a new-writing theatre company, based in Kent. For close to a decade we've made and staged original plays that have moved audiences across the UK and beyond.Tuesday 19 - Saturday 23 January 2027 at 7.30pm
