Stories, songs, riddles, spells in the realm of the 'what if' to enchant the long summer evening.Another fun and friendly session of Edinburgh’s monthly storytelling club held upstairs in the Waverley Bar, with the usual open-floor section for anyone to share a story, song or poem around the theme or otherwise.Harriet Grindley is the co-host of the popular storytelling ceilidh series organised by the Burgh Blatherers at the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
Her stories connect with place, history, myth and community with tales traditional and new.
She particularly enjoys using Gaelic, songs, clarsach or concertina, found objects and image to create an immersive and inclusive environment.
