Join yoga teacher Eve Crawshaw and pianist Luke Congdon for 90-minutes of yoga accompanied by live improvised piano. This immersive session will weave together breath, movement and sound, creating a space where music and practice evolve as one.
Luke brings over 20 years of playing experience, responding to the unfolding practice to create a live soundscape that develops alongside its participants.
Expect a slow, mindful and embodied practice inspired by both Hatha and Vinyasa traditions with an extended shavasana.Meet the facilitators:Luke and Eve met over a decade ago while studying Music and Social Anthropology, respectively, at the University of Cambridge.
This collaboration brings together their shared interests in embodied practice, philosophical enquiry, deep listening and creative exploration, offering a space where movement and music can unfold in conversation with one another.Luke holds a dipABRSM with distinction in piano performance, and regularly performs across the UK.
He has taught classical and jazz piano from beginner to advanced level for over 7 years.Eve's teaching is shaped by a love of mindful movement, philosophy and embodied practice.
Alongside her yoga training, her academic background has explored embodiment and our relationship with the material world, informing a practice that invites curiosity, presence and a deeper awareness of how we inhabit our bodies.Open to all levels of experience.
