Karina Gracia is a flamenco dancer and teacher whose Spanish heritage and lifelong passion for dance led her to flamenco. She has trained extensively with flamenco artists in Andaluca, Madrid and the UK, developing a powerful and expressive style rooted in the traditions of the art form. Karina has performed throughout the South West and beyond at theatres, festivals, cultural events and intimate flamenco shows. Performance highlights include Glastonbury Festival, the Festival of the Iberian Horse, the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter and the lead dance role in New Devon Operas touring production of Carmen.
Alongside performing, Karina has taught flamenco since 2008 and runs regular classes, workshops and residential flamenco weekends, sharing her passion for the music, rhythms and expressive power of flamenco.Jaime Cantera Song & Percussion
Jaime Cantera (a.k.a. Jimi Can) is a Spanish singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Bristol. Having lived and travelled extensively throughout Andaluca, Jaime has absorbed a wide range of musical influences, with his flamenco particularly shaped by the traditions of Jerez and Granada.
As a flamenco singer and percussionist, Jaime brings both authenticity and spontaneity to the performance, responding to the guitar and dance through the powerful and expressive tradition of cante flamenco.David Nash Flamenco Guitar
David Nash is a Bristol-based flamenco guitarist with 30 years playing experience. Originally trained in classical guitar, he later turned his attention to flamenco and has studied with a number of respected flamenco maestros in both Spain and the UK.
David has extensive experience performing with flamenco dancers as well as playing at restaurants, weddings, private events and live shows.
