An evening of MUSIC AND READINGS FROM THE PLAYS OF SHAKESPEARE
Performed by candlelight in Tudor costume, with dramatised scenes written by Tony Peters
Shakespeare makes many references to songs, music and dances in his plays. In this program a wide selection of scenes are followed by the piece of music referred to in the text. Coranto play a variety of medieval reconstructions and modern instruments, which aim to recreate the Tudor sound.
