That smoky voice, surely the by-product of fiery passion, lilts between octaves, smouldering in the embers of truth's tinderbox. That voice, flowing lava-like, sprung from Vulcan eruptions and shifting tectonic plates, the voice you've heard in songs as diverse as the house music hit Cerrone vs. Sweet Connection's "Misunderstanding" to Jools Holland's "I Went By", regardless of genre, there is no debate: that voice burns.
