David Bednall presents an exciting programme to display the full sounds and abilities of Sherborne Abbey's magnificent organ.

Bach, is represented in the mighty Aus tiefer Noth with its double pedal part, and well-known organ composers Vierne, Howells, and Francis Jackson are heard in beautiful miniatures.Amongst the more unusual offerings are Cecilia McDowall's uplifting Celebration, Hilary Tann's evocative Pinnae Ventorum, and Britton's fantastically virtuosic and fun Variations on 'I got rhythm' and James Macmillan's rhythmic dance Kenga e Krushqve.The programme ends with an improvisation for which the audience are invited to submit themes.
