Penarth Churches Walk

Penarth is a dock and seaside town on the coast, 4 miles south of Cardiff.

It is generally regarded by the rest of Wales as being very posh.

It has a population of 28,000 and could be best described as a Venn Diagram of different interests and affiliations.

None more so than its places of worship.

These number just short of 20 in number.

You could be forgiven for assuming Penarth is a very godly place, not including the neighbouring parishes of Cogan and Llandough.

The walk will take you past all of them and will include historical and architectural details where appropriate.
