Cambridgeshire-based indie folk singer-songwriter Luke James Williams plays an intimate gig at The Vic in support of his much anticipated second album, Limes Hotel.Luke James Williams is an indie-folk singer-songwriter from Cambridgeshire, UK. Releasing his debut EP 'Drove' in November 2018, He gained huge support from BBC6 Music DJ Tom Robinson who made 'Still In Bed' his 6 Music Recommends Track Of The Week in April 2019, later naming it his Track Of The Year So Far in July. The song was also played across the station by Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq and Tom Ravenscroft. Elsewhere, he has received airplay from Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing.In July 2022, Luke released his "outstanding" (KLOF) debut album, 'Our Blood Is Red'. As well as picking up rave reviews from some of the biggest sites & publications on the indie & folk scenes, Bandcamp made the album one of their 'New & Notable' releases which attracted new followers from all four corners of the globe.Building a name as a captivating & emotive live performer, he has supported artists such as Thea Gilmore, Mark Chadwick (Levellers), Charlie Dore & Megson.
