Evie Waddell & Andrew Herrington part of Culture Night Stirling

Evie Waddell is a Gaelic and Scots singer, fiddler and step dancer from Stirlingshire, and a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s BMus in Traditional Music.

A BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician 2024 finalist and Danny Kyle Open Stage winner, she is one of the most exciting emerging voices in Scottish traditional music, known for her striking performances that weave together Gaelic song, BSL and movement.

For Culture Night Stirling, Evie performs as a duo with Andrew Herrington — a Stirling-based musician who worked on the recording of the new Stirling song — and will include a performance of that song on the night.
