Brighten The Corners Presents experimental multi-instrumentalist ICHI for a half-term all-ages afternoon matinee show, followed by an instrument making workshop for children, at The Church on Wednesday 27th May.ICHI takes the notion of a one-man band to new limits, combining his quirky handmade instrument inventions (Stilt-bass, Kalilaphone, Balloon-pipes, Hatbox-pedal-drum, Tapumpet, Percussion-shoes and Hattrick-hat) with steel-drum, ping-pong balls, typewriter, toys and everyday objects.There are limited spaces available for the post-show workshop where ICHI will show young participants how to make a Bug Pipe and Wind Whistle (materials will be provided).
