Aurora will present a memorised version of Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 ‘The Jupiter Symphony’ - the last symphony that he composed, regarded by many critics as among the greatest symphonies in classical music.Freedom, communication and energy: Aurora perform from memory, drawing you closer into Mozart’s triumphant final symphony.
Introduced from the stage by the performers themselves, the musicians, led by conductor Nicholas Collon, offer personal insights and walk you through the symphony’s story as it unfolds.
The result is an experience that feels closer to a gig: dynamic, intimate, conversational, and alive in the moment. The show will take place in Bristol’s Prospect Building: a new cultural space curated in collaboration with the city’s best-loved creative collectives.
This marks the first collaboration between Aurora Orchestra and through the noise - and through the noise’s first orchestral project - bringing together a shared vision of inviting audiences to experience classical music with shared joy, catharsis, and to connect to a distant time and place.Presented by Aurora Orchestra and through the noiseThis is a 14+ event
