Moot House Theatre Company - Spring Showcase

Following a sold-out debut production of GREASE,
MHTC are now showcasing return and new talent in our upcoming Spring Showcase which will be staged at the Moot House 29th-31st May.This show is suitable for 16+. Over 21s may accompany someone younger than 16 at their own discretion. Please be aware that this show contains some strong language, slurs appropriate to the era, sexual references and some depictions of tobacco/illegal substances.The showcase is a cabaret-style show with a Through the Eras theme. Starting in the 1920s and ending in the 2000s. We will be covering important topics of the time including segregation, Stonewall, the Y2K bug and more. Although covering some heavier topics, this show will be lighthearted, entertaining and suitable for fans of plays and musical theatre goers alike.We have an amazing cast made up of singers, dancers and actors joining us for our first showcase which consist of both dramatic and comedic original scripts (written in-house) and numbers including hits from icons such as The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Candi Staton, Bob Marley, Elvis Presley, Wu-tang Clan and many, many more.We have an 18-people strong cast of both experienced performers and normal people that have never performed before and wanted to try something new this year.
