An exhibition of hand stitched embroidery, taking the beauty of flowers to fabric, by way of hand stitched needlework.Julie has brought the beauty of flowers to fabric, with hand stitched embroidery.Each piece, an element, or part of a flower, having taken the original image, and stylised it, to its most simple shape and form, and then, in blocks of bright, bold colours, used hand stitched embroidery, to create individual pieces of floral art.

She has added a delicate beaded element to each.

There to show an added textural depth to the piece.

As a nod of inspiration, taken from the bold, colourful works of much of the Pop Art movement, each piece is outlined in black.
