Bath Opera: The Elixir of Love

Following the success of last years La Traviata in Seend, Bath Opera is delighted to return with its OperaCorto summer production of The Elixir of Love on Saturday 12 July at 7.00pm.
This fresh, fun,90-minute English-language versionof Donizettis much-loved comic opera will be presented withpiano accompaniment, creating an intimate and engaging evening for both opera newcomers and seasoned audiences alike. The performance includes an interval.
Set in the1950s, this colourful and fast-paced production tells a joyful story of love, hope, and a mysterious elixir that promises to change everything. With a cast ofeight singers, sparkling music, and plenty of humour, its opera at its most accessible and entertaining.
The production is directed by Ryan Graham Hinds, with Justin Ayres as Music Director.Just us for pre-show Canaps and drinks from 4:40pm at Rusty's or bring a picnic to enjoy on the field.
