Classic Double Bill

A unique double bill of classic plays, performed by our older students from our Classical division.
The Old Lady Shows Her Medals is a touching, gentle comedy by J.M. Barrie. Set in London in World War 1, it explores the social expectations and pressures from that time.
In contrast, Trifles by Susan Glaspell, is set in America's Mid West during the late 1940s, and deals with the discovery of murdered farmer John Wright and the investigation to find his killer. It explores a society embroiled in misogyny, where women and their views are frequently dismissed and overlooked.
