Chat, Play & Read plus Welcomm

18th September until 16th October, 9am-10:15am.

Everyone welcome! (you do not have to attend Bacup Nursery School to join in!)Participants will take part in guided activities that demonstrate how everyday play, reading, and conversation can strengthen a child’s ability to communicate.

The course includes Welcomm assessments before and after the programme, helping families understand their child’s current communication stage and track progress.

Each weekly session offers clear guidance, supportive discussion, and opportunities to try out new approaches that encourage confident communication in young children.Please note this is a 6-week course starting on the 18th September, one ticket per child and adult books you a place on all 6 sessions until the 16th October.

Please note attendees may be required to do Welcomm assessments on the 4th September or 11th September if they do not already have one from their nursery provider.

Please note, children and parents attending are required to have a ticket.

Only one ticket is required to allow access to the 6-week course.

It is strongly advised that parents/children book on and attend all 6 weeks.
