Ten Fé began with a meeting at a house party in London, where songwriters Ben Moorhouse and Leo Duncan first played together.

Ten Fé began with a meeting at a house party in London, where songwriters Ben Moorhouse and Leo Duncan first played together.

Between busking trips on the London Underground and songs written in each other’s bedrooms, they developed the partnership that would become Ten Fé.

Old friend and bassist Rob Shipley joined a little later, becoming a driving force in the band alongside them.

More than a decade later, they’ve released three albums, passed 100 million Spotify streams and built an international cult following.Leo grew up in the Black Country in an Irish household steeped in folk singing.

Ben came from East London, finding his way through Britpop and psychedelia before studying jazz at the Royal Academy of Music.

They shared a love of older songs and an instinct for making music that connected with people straight away.

Those different backgrounds have given Ten Fé room to move, with two distinct voices and approaches to songwriting finding common ground.Presented by Eat Your Own Ears. This is an 18+ event
