Brume: Kazimi, Vulva Voce, Alice Kim

Kazimi are the soundtrack to warp speed space travel - basslines built for dance floors, grooves bent out of shape by odd meters, and soaring melodies that feel both chaotic and precise. Written and produced by bassist Tom Chapman and drummer Jon Needham; their music is meticulous in detail yet bursting with playful energy. On stage, the pair expand into a larger band, with additional players covering the synths and textures that turn their sets into full-throttle raves.
Vulva Voce puts performance at the forefront, combining movement, experimentation and improvisation to produce a truly dynamic show. They combine their musical influences of folk, contemporary classical, techno and beyond, to push the boundaries of how a string quartet can sound, perform and engage with an audience. At the heart of their performance is the empowerment of women's voices and stories. The music they play is entirely created by women and underrepresented artists from across history, including original music and specially commissioned works.
Alice Kim might be carving her path in the world of alternative-indie, but her sound is universal: intimate, relatable and unapologetically human. If her music feels like it knows you, its because shes singing straight from the heart.
