Issey Chivers

Issey Chivers is a London-based vocalist, composer and arranger whose sound moves effortlessly between jazz, folk, and the singer-songwriter tradition.

Inspired by artists such as Fini Bearman, Lauren Kinsella, and Sara Dowling, she sings with a "tremendous range of colours" (Northwich Guardian), bringing sensitivity to detail and a quiet confidence to stories that feel honest and full of emotion.Drawing on imagery of the sea, Issey's debut EP, Whispers of the Sea (August 2026), is a collection of original compositions and reimagined jazz standards that invites listeners to pause, breathe, and find beauty in life's shifting tides.

The project explores themes of connection, the search for calm, and self-discovery in a fast-paced world.Since graduating from Leeds Conservatoire in 2022, Issey has performed across the UK and Europe, including appearances with trumpeter and composer Olivia Cuttill at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, PizzaExpress Jazz Club Soho, Le Duc des Lombards, and on BBC Radio 3.For this performance, Issey is joined by Jack Greenslade (piano), Guy Dempsey (double bass), and Senan McCullough (drums), performing music from Whispers of the Sea, carefully selected jazz standards reimagined within the same distinct sound world and brand-new original compositions.Vocals - Issey ChiversPiano - Jack GreensladeDouble Bass - Guy DempseyDrums - Senan McCulloughPresented by Morocco Bound.This is an 18+ event
