Knotted Wire Ring Workshop
Level: Beginners
Discover how simple wire techniques can be transformed into an elegant, sculptural ring in this beginner-friendly one-day jewellery workshop. Using round wire and traditional hand tools, you’ll explore forming, soldering and finishing while creating a distinctive knotted ring design.
This course focuses on building solid foundations in jewellery making, with plenty of time for careful working and individual support. The knotted centre creates visual interest without requiring complex construction, making it an ideal introduction to wirework and soldering.
By the end of the day, you’ll leave with a completed ring and a clear understanding of the processes involved — as well as the confidence to develop the idea further in your own work.
What you’ll cover

Forming controlled curves and balanced shapes
Introduction to soldering and heat control
Shaping and sizing a ring on a mandrel
