Book your place to listen to Liz explain how an artistic change of direction led her to explore the meditative process of slow stitching and free style embroidery as a form of creative expression.Stitch journals and samplers will be on display together with a selection of other past and present work which is relevant to the hand stitched work she is doing today.There will be the opportunity at the end of the talk to spend a few mindful moments hand stitching onto a ‘People’s Journal’ - a textile piece which will grow over time and which may inspire you to start your own similar project.This event is free - but please book your spot.
