Exhibition launch - Alan Lodge / Bonington Vitrines #31: The Velvet Acronyms

Join us for the launch of the first exhibition in our 2026-27 season, a major survey of photographer Alan Lodge (b. 1953), whose work has documented British counterculture, protest movements and grassroots activism for more than five decades.Featuring more than 100 photographs alongside 35mm slide projections, moving-image works, personal archives, and previously unseen material,Common Grounds [https://boningtongallery.co.uk/event/alan-lodge-common-grounds-counterculture-confrontation-since-1976/] provides an expansive overview of Lodges practice and of a life dedicated to activism.As part of the Bonington Vitrines series, were delighted to present The Velvet Acronyms Its a Wonderful Protest [https://boningtongallery.co.uk/event/bonington-vitrines-31-the-velvet-acronyms-its-a-wonderful-protest/].
