Algernon Cadwallader was part of the mid-2000s emo revival, pairing Midwest emo with math-rock musicianship. The group released two studio albums, 'Some Kind of Codwallader' in 2008 and 'Parrot Flies' in 2011, a pair of EPs, and several other recordings over the course of seven years before returning in 2018 to release a third album titled 'Algernon Cadwallader'.
