Soultrane Takeover

Soultrane is Ireland's first festival and year-round programme dedicated to soul, jazz and music of Black origin, celebrating the rich cultural heritage and lasting influence of these genres.Taking over the car park at the Oh Yeah Music Centre in true block party style, Soultrane will curate our Yard Stage for the Saturday night of our Fringe Programme.The line-up features DJ Dee La Soul, renowned for his impeccable soul selections and infectious energy, the genre-blending sounds of Tribal Ting, and the irresistible soul grooves of Manukahunney.

Completing the programme, Soultrane plans to feature a small woman of colour artist collective, reflecting the organisation's commitment to celebrating diversity and creating welcoming spaces where people from all backgrounds can come together through the power of music.Since launching, Soultrane has been invited to 10 Downing Street for Black History Month, establishedIreland's first dedicated soul residency at Room2 Belfast, and partnered with leading cultural festivals including Imagine! Belfast Festival, East Belfast Festival, Féile an Phobail and Sound of Belfast.
