Majk Stokes @ Music on the Mezzanine

Majk Stokes is an Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter, poet, musician, environmentalist and Quaker, and he has been writing and performing silly songs for longer than he cares to admit.

His subject matter takes in everything from archaeology and Celtic festivals to vegetables and superheroes.

More recently he started writing more serious songs and poems about the environment and occasionally politics, and several of his humorous songs also have an environmental message.

He has recorded three studio albums and self-published two books of poetry.
