Danbury Players are proud to present - 'Allo 'Allo - by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft.This Allo 'Allo! stage play, adapted from the hit BBC television series by creators Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft, is a fast-paced farce set in a small caf in occupied France during World War II.

It follows the chaotic life of Ren Artois, a reluctant, womanizing caf owner trying to navigate the demands of the German occupiers, the local French Resistance, and his own jealous wife, Edith.Ren is forced to hide a stolen masterpiece, "The Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies," inside a sausage in his cellar, which both the German Colonel and the Gestapo (Herr Flick) are desperately trying to acquire.The play heavily features the show's signature humor, including the well known catchphrases, innuendo, and slapstick comedy, culminating in a chaotic, high-energy finale.This amateur production of'ALLO 'ALLO is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French, Ltd. www.concordtheatricals.co.uk
