Stories of Us: Launch Event

Free for young people aged 14 to 18!Join us on Friday 11 September 2026 to launch Stories of Us, a free creative programme delivered in partnership with Suffolk Artlink & East Suffolk Council.Come along to find out more about the project, meet the other young people and have a go at some creative activities. Pizza will be provided!
After the launch event, well meet every other Friday from 4:00pm 6:00pm for six creative workshops exploring identity, heritage, and self-expression through books, storytelling and creativity.Workshop dates and themes:
Friday 25th September & 9th October Exploring Self-Expression
Friday 23rd October & 6th November Exploring My Community & Space
Friday 20th November & 4th December Exploring IdentityThroughout the programme, participants will work towards creating a zine that brings together everything they have learnt. We will showcase their work in a public exhibition at Beccles Library.
