Perthshire Zoo's Haunted Forest

Perthshire Zoo at Auchingarrich will be transforming its woodland into a special haunted forest this Halloween, with its popular Spooktacular evenings offering four different levels of fright for visitors of all ages.Running every Friday and Saturday evening from 9 October, families can choose from various timed experiences, from gentle and magical for younger children up to the late ‘maximum terror’ session for adult-only thrill seekers.After enjoying a welcoming warm witch’s brew on arrival, Halloweeners will begin their journey aboard a tombstone-themed tractor and trailer ride, as they are transported deep into the woodland to begin their spooktacular adventure.Visitors will then make their way through the haunted forest, following a winding trail past cobweb-covered pathways, eerie graveyards, skeletons, giant spiders, a bubbling witch's cauldron and a chilling haunted house with surprises lurking behind every corner.Alongside a spooktacular walk, visitors will be able to enjoy a range of activities before and after their walk, including Halloween-themed crafts, fairground games and photos with spooky props and the chance to toast marshmallows over fire pits with Count Dracula.
