It’s amazingly calming and you’ll have fun too.We’ll talk a little about the history of Straw Plaiting for the making of hats, and you’ll be able to look at examples of work, books and artwork from the craft's hay-day (accidental pun there.)You'll be introduced to the 3 ended plait, starting with paper and moving on to straw - then, try your hand at a 5 ended plait.You’ll be supporting a Critically Endangered Heritage Craft!Come along, meet fellow craft lovers, and start your plaiting journey with us!
