Arts Society lecturer, Alan Read, will lead this tour of The Wallace Collection which is justly renowned for its paintings, some of them among the most famous in the country.

From Italian Renaissance to Dutch Golden Age and French Rococo, this tour will strike a balance between well-known masterpieces and what might prove to be new discoveries and pose the question, what exactly is it that constitutes fame and value?We will have two groups of 12.
Eachvisit will last 90 minutes.Date of Visit - Thursday 17th September 2026MeetingTimes - The morning group will meet at 10.15 for a 10.30 start and the afternoon group will meet at 13.45 for a 14.00 start.Meeting Place - We will meet inside the main entrance of the Wallace Collection, Manchester Square, London W1U 3BN.
It's a 10 minute walk from Bond Street Station.Ticket Price - The cost is 28 per person including Vox equipment.Tickets - Despite what it may say elsewhere you do not need to bring your ticket with you as we will have an attendance sheet.
