The older we get the more we lose, the stories, the people & the fragmented memories all get distorted.

But what if we could clear this image? What if the VHS spat itself back out, the boogyman strangled us with the tape & sent us down the river?BOGGIN aims to help us navigate this low road - an experimental, auto-biographical performance that explores the concept of 'Generational Loss' & applies it to the human experience.BOGGIN combines elements of family memories with creatures & tales from Scottish Folklore.

All while communicating a story recently passed down to me by my Grandmother about our family's history & connections to Ethiopia & my family's part in the Great Abbai Expedition.The show aims to challenge viewers to care more about what their elders have to say, to care about their culture, to care about the documentation of one's life.A love letter to my Scottish heritage, to my Family and to my Uncle.
