TICKETS ON SALE FROM 10th MARCH
Ightham Mote, Kent - Friday 21st August 2026
Ightham Mote is a romantic medieval moated manor house hidden away in the Kent countryside. It is built from Kentish ragstone and great Wealden oaks and is almost 700 years old. Whilst its architecture and decoration trace the development of the English country house, its owners provide the stories of a once-cherished family home. In the tranquil gardens there are streams and lakes fed by natural springs, an orchard, flower borders and a cutting garden. The wider estate offers lovely walks with countryside views
There is a caf selling hot and cold drinks and snacks, a well-stocked National Trust gift shop also selling locally made products and souvenirs, as well as a second-hand book shop.
The house is a National Trust property and so is free to members, but do remember to bring your National Trust membership card.Leave: 9.15 a.m. Hawkey Hall Return: approx. 6.00 p.m.
