Summer Big Band & BBQ

The popular Summer Big Band event features pop, rock, jazz and funk music from across the decades, performed in the open air by musicians from across the School.

Expect to see smaller pupil-led groups supporting bigger ensembles like the Westcliff Choir, the Jazz Band and, of course, the Big Band.

The mix of styles at this event is always eclectic, and this year is no exception.

Expect to hear music from artists and composers as diverse as Queen, Prince, Gershwin and Cyndi Lauper, all while tucking into the BBQ or your own picnic.

Refreshments and snacks will also be on sale thanks to the PA.

This concert is the last music event of the year, and it is sure to usher in the summer break with a bang! Please note - ticket sales for Food will close at least five days in advance but the exact date will be confirmed nearer the time - Admission only tickets will still be available after this date and until 3.00pm on Friday 10 July (numbers allowing).

In the event of inclement weather the evening may be moved into the Main Hall.

All ticket holders will be notified should this be the case.
