Join Doncaster Choral Society for the opening concert of their 2026–27 season, conducted by guest Music Director Chris Why.Britten’s Saint Nicolas tells the story of the legendary life of Saint Nicholas, Bishop of Myra, in a vivid and dramatic sequence of events. Alongside it, the choir perform Haydn’s Sancti Nicolai, a Mass originally written to honour St Nicholas Day – bringing together two very different musical celebrations of the same saint.Guest Music Director: Chris Why
