Centenary Celebration Lecture with Tom Holland
To celebrate our Centenary year, we are delighted to invite you to a special evening lecture with acclaimed historian, author, and broadcaster Tom Holland.
Tom Holland is widely known as co-host of The Rest Is History on Radio 4. A distinguished novelist, documentary maker, podcaster, and popular historian, he has authored numerous works on classical history. His latest book, Pax: War and Peace in Romes Golden Age, explores the height of the Roman Empire.
He was brought up just outside Salisbury, in Broad Chalke, and is also President of the Stonehenge Alliance, a group dedicated to opposing the Stonehenge tunnel project.Event Details:

Reception with drinks and canapes: 6:00 pm
Lecture: 7:00 pm
Limited parking for disabled visitors is available outside the museum and must be booked in advance. Please contact the museum on 01722 332151 to reserve a space. Free parking is available in the Cathedral car park.
Tickets: As a thank you to our members for their continued support, this event is free for members.
Guest/general public tickets are available for 15, which includes refreshments and canaps.
Join us for what promises to be a fascinating and celebratory evening.
Please note that there is a lift to the lecture room where the lecture will take place. Unfortunately, access to the reception area involves steps; however, we would be happy to bring canaps and wine to you in the lecture room if you prefer.
