Shipwrecked in an unfamiliar land, twins Viola and Sebastian both believe the other to be dead. When Viola disguises herself as a man, she quickly finds herself caught between the lovestruck duke, Orsino, and the object of his affections, the Countess Olivia…Full of love, music, mistaken identity, and a little bit of mischief, Twelfth Night has something for everyone.Seating for this outdoor performance will be on the slope leading down from the Rookery terrace. Sit on the grass (or bring a blanket) towards the front, or bring your own chair and sit higher up the slope, to allow everyone to see the stage. There is step-free access to the terrace at the top from the main gate by the Rookery Café, or to the bottom from the entrance on Covington Way.There will be a licensed bar available (cash or card). Toilets are situated by the Rookery Café – the café itself is open until 5pm.
Please note this is an outdoors performance lasting about 2 hours including interval. Please dress suitably for the weather! Not suitable for younger children.
