Our Rising Stars programme brings a select group of emerging musicians to our Festival stages, under mentorship by some of the world’s finest musicians.Inspired by the spontaneous jam tradition in jazz, during the Classical Jam our performers don’t know in advance what they will play.

Instead, they put the choice of repertoire into the hands of the audience.Discover the passion and spontaneity of this impromptu concert, where the connection between audience and musicians is at the very heart of the performance.
