Minister for the Counterculture, Mancunian mainstay, alternative national treasure - John Robb, author of Punk Rock Ruined My Life, has lived a life in music.

He throws you headfirst into the glorious chaos of punk, chairing this event with three brilliant guides: Kevin Dettmar, author of Punk in 50 Pieces, blasting through the era's cultural earthquake one song at a time; Matthew Worley, whose No Future digs into punk's politics and rebellion; and Penny Kiley, author of Atypical Girl, on growing up punk in Liverpool and never quite fitting in.
