Midwinter Magick: An evening of story and song with the East Anglian Folklore Centre

Join the East Anglian Folklore Centre for another wonderful event, reflecting on the magic and mystery to be found in the local area.

We will present a varied programme including music, folk dance, ritual and a second round of our popular competitive storytelling POD OFF: A live recorded podcast where we gather together brilliant folklore and spooky podcasters to make them compete with their best seasonal and local stories for a smug ceramic vegetable of some sort.The East Anglian Folklore Centre (EAFC) was developed by artist, storyteller and folklorist Gemma Garwood, and artist, broadcaster and folklorist Bethan Briggs-Miller.

The centre opened its doors in the summer of 2024, and since then has revelled in building a robust and eminently flexible space that responds to the need of the community congregating around it.
