Meet.

Move.

Make. is a series of weekly movement sessions forover 60s.

It is about moving our bodies and sparking a creative connection.The sessions will be relaxed and fun, the movement will be led as tasks or activities that are loose enough to be adapted to whatever ability you are at.

You could challenge yourself physically or choose to give yourself a gentler time.

You might think of it more as a movement art club, than an exercise class.

And there is an invitation to stay for tea and cake afterwards in the caf after the session.Over the6-week course we will work with a theme with which to create gestures and short movement phrases.

We might work these into duets or group sequences and gradually build a piece of work.

Or we might just enjoy creating movement for the sake of it - and for our wellbeing.Movement and creativity are keys to true health and joy, at any age.

Whether you are familiar with creative movement or whether it is a new, and even slightly intimidating, prospect for you, I invite you to join.

My intention is that these sessions will become an environment of creative celebration for each other, and that each participant will increase trust and confidence in themselves their bodies, creativity and overall health.Ultimately, I have an ambition of building an Elders Dance Company in Trowbridge, which creates striking, high-quality work, has creative confidence, and a really strong sense of warmth and community.
