22 Tuesday Company Presents: Almost, Maine by John Cariani

Almost, Maine
By John CarianiOn a cold and enchanted winter night, the people of the town of Almost find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected ways. Relationships end, begin, or change as strangers become friends, friends become lovers, and lovers turn into strangers. Propelled by the mystical energy of the aurora borealis and populated with characters who are humorous, plain-spoken, thoughtful, and sincere, John Cariani's Almost, Maine is a series of loosely connected tales about love and longing, each with a compelling couple, and each with its own touch of magic.22 Tuesday Company brings this beloved play to life for its debut production.22 Tuesday Company started at the pub on the last night of a three-month beginner's acting course, we were having so much fun and knew we didn't want it to end. A group chat was made the next day, a rehearsal space got booked, and now, several Tuesdays later, it's a full production, the plans really did make it out of the group chat. The Rosemary Branch Theatre, 2 Shepperton Rd, London N1 3DT
