Malin Lewis and Mairearad Green

Malin Lewis is supported by Mairearad Green in an evening where Scottish tradition meets bold musical imagination.

Audiences can expect the expressive voice of the smallpipes and fiddle alongside richly textured accordion melodies, creating a sound that moves effortlessly between driving rhythms, lyrical tunes and atmospheric passages.Mairearad Green's new album sounds as old as it does contemporary, and it relates as much to this moment as to the past through the use of low-fi recording techniques and timeless instruments such as the small pipes.

With haunting vocals, small pipes and accordion, Mairearad will be joined by multi-instrumentalist Mike Vass.
