Youth Dance Summer Intensive

The Youth Dance Summer Intensive is a week of creativity, fun and energy for young people aged aged 7–16.Throughout the week, dancers will explore a variety of dances styles such as contemporary and street dance, plus dance from different cultures, to musicals and dance on film as well as music from iconic artists whilst learning exciting routines and developing their confidence, creativity and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.What your child will learn and experience:- Dance styles inspired by cultures from around the world.
- Explore dance and music inspired by popular culture and famous musicals.
- Creative choreography sessions and fun routines.
- A supportive environment that builds confidence, social skills and teamwork.
- The week is run by professional dance artists from The D Project.
- Plenty of breaks, time to recharge, and opportunities to make new friends.
- A special informal sharing at the end of the week to celebrate their progress.A little experience is a good but not essential, you can be a beginner and learn something new. Whether your child is already passionate about dance or completely new to it, all they need is enthusiasm and a willingness to get moving and have fun.Children must bring a packed lunch each day. Morning, lunchtime and afternoon breaks are included.There will be an informal sharing to showcase all that the children have learnt over the week on Friday at 2:00pm.
